So this is apparently a thing, after 15 years she didn't just become a True Vocaloid, she technologically surpassed them.
It's not out yet but they did release the above sample songs. It's also not gonna be free costing between ￥8580 and ￥10780 depending on the package, still cheaper!
I'm not really sure how I feel about it yet, the sample songs (the video up top is a playlist) do give a pretty good impression but in some cases I'm really missing the accent the UTAU voicebank had on her vowel pronunciation which was a big factor in making Teto sound like Teto. I'm sure people can figure things out and the fact that you have to pay for it will hopefully not kill the UTAU users. For me a big reason why I like vokinda type shit is because It Doesn't sound like human singing and is sort of its own thing.
Still a really cool announcement, especially with her backstory and the fact that the project has lasted this long.
secretly really excited for a re-sing of ochame kinou with this to remove the need for the Lon version
