Arch Linux Has Backdoors
#16241
I might have to switch to Linux from scratch as it is possible the devs at Arch Linux might have backdoored the prebuilt binaries. Remember, complete freedom is the freedom to compile the binaries on your computer.

enable IPv6 or suffer from IPv4 deprectiation

i have nothing interesting to say because at this point everything can be backdoored, do you trust your hw? modern cpus are huge and pretty much impossible to verify, also lol management engine
i have instead a link which you might find interesting, guix can now source bootstrap off a 357 byte binary - much much harder to Reflections on trusting trust-ize as the huge compiler toolchains languages have today. https://guix.gnu.org/blog/2023/the-full-source-bootstrap-building-from-source-all-the-way-down/

i mean if you wish to have to review every line of code of every piece of software you compile, including the compiler itself because you never know if the compiler is hosed, by all means

that said, the more paranoid you show yourself to be, the more likely a government entity is to single you out for spying because you're signaling that you have something you're hiding

you ever notice how the only two contexts in which people use the word "user" is with computers and drugs?
