Lenovo is an awful vendor, and always has been. It's just that as of recent they started cheaping out even more with the companies they get their designs from which was the only place they had any edge. They've always restricted what wireless cards you can use (even the late IBMs did that) , and other gay shit like putting a genuine battery check which can fail with Genuine lenovo batteries even on the newer models :). while Dell has never done such wankery.

nope its an 7700k overclocked to 5.2ghz but it displays as 4.20 lmao

speccy always labels CPUs with their base stock speed, usually the only way to see actual speed is with CPU-Z or HWMonitor or something, the 7700k just happens to run stock at 4.2GHz

for example, my chip (which iirc is like 3.3 or 3.4 stock) is actually running at 4.4GHz
