Hi guys, you can call me Lester. I wanna keep this concise so here's the short story; I was rewatching some of danooct1/rogueamp's videos and I got reminded of MalwareUp/Cybernetics/Saibateku and wondered where everyone is after a good while, bout 5 to 6 years I believe. Somehow when I punched in a few URLs, I still remembered this web address from back then. That prompted me to make an account 6 hours ago! I hope I'll have fun here just like before xd, looking forward to getting to know you all.

hey win, i remember you! and yeah, it has been very long, say about half a decade xd. been fine for the most part; school, growing up, etc. how's you (and the rest)?

i dont have a license yet, but honestly i would drive an auto due to the traffic here. manual is nice and all for leisure but if i want to travel from A to B efficiently and in the most comfort i'd pick auto. other than that, i'm quite on the fence
fun fact: singapore has separate licenses for auto and manual. if you take the manual one you can drive both AT/MT. if you take the auto one you only can drive cars with AT.

automatics are available everywhere afaik, its not like the past anymore. if you're talking about less developed countries then yeah manual might be the more common one there.

i think it's a good thing that microsoft is trying to 'rebrand' windows. they are also trying to refresh some icons. shell32.dll has some updated icons.
as for the taskbar and the rest, i'll hold my judgement as it's pre-release and in-development software. history would tell us that none of the dev builds reflect the final look and feel of the RTM version.

yay my turn (cba to take a pic till now)

camera:
canon 7d mark ii
lenses:
sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 dc hsm art
canon ef-s 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 is usm
canon ef-s 24mm f/2.8 stm
not pictured are also a few lens filters (soft, star, nd, polarising) and a manfrotto befree tripod that i rarely use
i take photos of anything tbh, but portraits the most. i used to have a canon 40mm (the 24mm's older brother) but i found the pov to be too "tight" on a crop-sensor camera. the sigma cost me the most (834 sgd) but it's the best investment i ever made. very sharp at f1.8. if i require a longer range i use the 18-135mm. and if i need something light to carry around i use the 24mm, i haven't got to put it to the test since i bought it though because i've been cooped up at home recently
