There's no inbetween for the software development and (ghost town) hardware engineering subforums and it feels wrong shoving anything else about computers in the milky toast general discussion. For this purpose it would be cool to perhaps have a set of less specialist subforums for software and hardware.

yeah that makes sense, i've been thinking about doing an full overall review of all the forum sections and their order anyway but i'm not sure if i should wait until i get that going though
