You now don't have to ask me to create an account on Patchii for you anymore! You can use Patchii to host whatever projects you like so long as it isn't gigabytes in size and/or illegal in the United States or the Netherlands. I'll try my best to keep this service as stable as I can, I'm pretty much entirely reliant on it myself too since I ditched Github entirely so hopefully that gives you some confidence in the service.



Just press the Sign in with Flashii ID button and you should be good to go! If you're logged out you still have to deal with the quirky login flow, but its better than nothing for now. If you still prefer to login with a password, you can still set one from the settings page or if you already had an account the password you had before will continue to work. If you run into any oddities be sure to reply to this thread with info. Logging in with a Flashii ID intentionally skips any 2FA methods configured on Patchii itself since Flashii ID already implements its own 2FA.

Because of the way the authentication stuff is implemented, Patchii now runs on a soft-fork of Forgejo, the source of which will be available at https://patchii.net/patchii/forgejo/src/branch/patchii

I didn't realise I completely forgot to mention that in the announcement because reemo asked about this as well, I think the bit about 2FA checked it off the list as mentioned in my head ^^;
