after finishing the concordia last winter at the request of my retired pastor friend i've since been interested in reading some of luther's foundational works. i usually wouldn't listen to a work like this since it's often easy to miss key points especially while doing other things, but so far i've been quite impressed with how readily i've been able to follow along with his works even when dictated and being pressed for time this whole summer it has been pleasant to be able to meditate on more complex things while doing mostly mindless labor
An excellent explanation of the Shanks transform method for accelerating the convergence of a sequence (starts at 58:17).
another fluffy pointless video of no actual consequence but i very much enjoy this guy's analysis and way of presenting information comparatively, i know almost nothing about other online rpg games so it was very informative. the thesis statement of the video is 'why runescape is not an mmo' which i think is a better title for the presentation but i'm sure he changed it so more people would be interested in seeing it
still don't really know what a video essay is but hopefully this is not whatever that is
this entire series is excellent and very well researched, but i particularly liked this portion. the painting used in the video is also incredibly striking and i would like to get a reproduction of it to keep on my porch in the winter
Thanks I'll have to check out both of those videos, they look pretty interesting
