Profile picture change only working in chat

Significant parts of the site require JavaScript. If you have it turned off and something doesn't work, that's probably why!

My profile picture does not appear to have changed on my profile and forum posts, while it is changed in the sock-chat

has to do with browser cache, i have a fix in mind but (the classic:) it requires prep
after a short while it should also display fine on the 4um
