been noticing a few times when i log in at night that sometimes the user list on the main page will be completely empty or have like one or two people on it but there's still the usual afk moms in the chat, can't really work out a pattern or discern why this would be but i figured i would mention it in case it turns into a website destroying mind breaking bug

i saw this happen once a couple days ago after my net got ziggo'd, i figured ziggo broke so spectacularly that it somehow took the chat server down with it
I'll have to debug why this happens then, cause it should ping every minute and there's like five minutes before the front page user list doesn't list people anymore

this is just an issue with the http request that updates the user list failing because System.Net.Http.HttpClient sucks ass.
