Visual Novels already fall within the scope of the section, but I want to make that fact clearer through the name.
Problem is that a three word summation (Anime, Manga & Visual Novels, or something like that) is Kind Of pushing it for a category title.
So I'm putting the question out there because I'm not sure what a good name for it would be.

I recall a circle site having "Japanese Culture" as the name for this section in the past, but that's just plain incorrect. Pretty sure I also copied this one already in a previous iteration of the forum long ago.
Saibateku, in its quest to spread everything as thinly as possible, had like five sections as well as a "Japan Central" which honestly isn't much different from "Japanese Culture" as a the name for a section about this sort of stuff.
The most fitting name I've been able to "think" of is to yoink 4chan's Otaku Culture, but that sounds horrendous to me as well.

why not just call it "Japanese Media"?

honestly i think "Anime & Manga" works well as an idiom of sorts. i don't see a point in trying to explicitly list every media form, especially when we have a perfectly functional fallback of "other forms of degenerate Japanese media" in the description

that's pretty much why i've erred towards that regardless, this thread is also here to sorta poll whether this change would be necessary in the first place
i'll update the description to explicitly mention VNs later today though
