I can't be the only one who likes taking pictures of random shit, the question is, what is your weapon of choice for shooting whatever it is you like to??

I'll start with what I have

My hobby personally is focused on analog photography, I know digital is better, but it feels more like an art form. especially when you get the satisfaction of getting your developed negatives back and seeing which shots came out good.

the main camera I use for all this is a Nikon N60 that my mom owned before she made the switch to a DSLR
it's a pretty standard SLR, but the autofocus on it seems to be pretty temperamental, so I normally don't rely on it too heavily
like both of my film cameras, it takes your standard 35mm film, which is becoming a bit of a bitch to find, honestly

standard 28-80mm lens, which currently has a UV filter on it
(on the camera) 70-300mm telelphoto lens [ which takes pretty good macro shots too]
and, a polarized filter, which I've never actually used yet

I also have a canon epoca (some models are called the photura) which I haven't done much research on as I recently got it, and it needs new batteries, but from what I have tried with it, its a pretty fun point and shoot camera that takes 35mm film as well and boasts an impressive zoom for not having interchangeable lenses
the thing also looks like an old camcorder and is quite comfortable to use one handed
I couldn't be bothered to pull it out and take a photo, but here's what it looks like


then finally, for all my digital photos, they're just taken on my iphone 7
I'm not quite happy with the camera on it tbh, most of my photos come out really grainy if I use the zoom at all


I hope to see what you guys are using
and if anyone who has been doing this for longer has any pointers for me, I'll gladly take some advice on how to improve my skills

I'm very late to the non-existent party but here goes.

The camera I use is a Nikon D3500 that I got a few years ago. It's a cute little DSLR, good enough for what I use it for. I mostly do landscape and ""urban"" stuff (very badly but still).

i take photos of anything tbh, but portraits the most. i used to have a canon 40mm (the 24mm's older brother) but i found the pov to be too "tight" on a crop-sensor camera. the sigma cost me the most (834 sgd) but it's the best investment i ever made. very sharp at f1.8. if i require a longer range i use the 18-135mm. and if i need something light to carry around i use the 24mm, i haven't got to put it to the test since i bought it though because i've been cooped up at home recently

i have a sony a3000 and a nex-c3
not a fan of the a3000, mostly because of the fact that it forces you to choose between either interlaced 16:9 or progressive 4:3, also for some reason everything appears darker even when the ISO, shutter speed and aperture are the same on both cameras

i have the stock 18-55 f5.6 kit lens and a cctv 35mm f1.6 thing too

just got my 3rd film camera, a 1978 Canon A35F. condition is really good, light seals and the capacitor for the flash have been changed too.

it's auto exposure so all you have to do is focus using the rangefinder, and hit the shutter.

i have acquired an ultrawide lens for 100 singapore dollars. i hope i'll be able to take some interesting photos

I shoot a bit of everything, landscapes, architecture, plants, animals and also dabble a bit in taking pictures of people.

It's a Fujifilm x-m5. I have added some body additions to it to make carrying it easier, as it is a fairly small camera. A SmallRig half case kit as well as a SmallRig thumb grip. For lenses I have a Fujinon 15-45mm and a Fujinon 50-230mm.

At some point I want to get an even bigger lens to take more and better pictures of animals.
