My brother works at Game Freak and told me that the Direct will be pretty much this:

- FRLG switch rom recap
- Pokopia recap
- mobile game stuff (GO new raid, Cafe new [whatever who does even play that], TCG new expac, Sleep more pokes, Masters new char and UNITE new char)
- new splatfest (they actually did it for the 20th anni)
- some avis for switch profiles
- S/V raids featuring mythical pokemon (for the 20th anni they did a rerun of all of the mythicals at the time)
- pokemon champions date reveal + recap of what it has
- fake end
- gen 10 reveal trailer

Even though I'd like a Gen 5 remake it's still too soon, we need Gen 10 to happen first (i say "we" but i don't really play much other than some pokemon showdown every now and then for the last 6 years)

I hope gen 5 remakes happen much later when they are not crunched, realize they should not outsource to ILCA, and revert back to the swsh art style (and let us play as rosa or..... N......) but wishful thinking. On the other hand it'd be really really cool if they even just followed the old narrative and made a sequel with Colress returning as the main antagonist. It looks like they do know BW is special to fans at least, with that one TCG set coming out last summer

i think ILCA is a fine developer but they really should've just been handed the engine and w/e from sword and shield and be given actual time to make a game yeah... i know my sister is also hoping they'll just hold off for the time being, we were talking about it last friday and she mentioned the disgust she feels every time she stumbles upon her brilliant diamond cartridge sob
