really well made video essay on the history of the minecraft wiki. I guess i remembered all these changes over the years but never really paid much attention to what was going on as they happened. I always knew Fandom (Wikia) wikis were the crappy ones and you didn't want to click on them in the search results but he goes into all the scummy Wikia business and how they try to corner the wiki ecosystem. Apparently there's also an extension to block Wikia pages on Google and redirect them to the real wikis.
