figured out how to mark all text messages as read today which is excellent because i respond to about 2 per cent of them and the program was so slow that it was becoming unusable. do normal people look at every single text message they get? i feel like if i've ignored something for like a week it should just get marked as read, i clearly do not care about it
people have really been bothering me a lot on the phone lately and it makes me want to get rid of the thing. you would assume that if you don't reply to things people would just shut up, no lol

I tend to mute groups and to block notifications in general on my phone, that helps. I even have some groups muted on MS Teams lol. Whatsapp (and probably many other instant messaging apps) has an option to archive and mute a chat, which moves it into a different section so you can just filter out the more irrelevant stuff.
i just made an autistic commitment to only use the name "Android" to refer to real foss-based operating systems, and single out the popular, proprietary fork which requires device and application and developer certification, is profit-first, and is based on the GMS system-level library as "Google Play OS". by openly breaking compatibility with real Android apps and pretty much abandoning AOSP they created a fork in everything except name, so i gave them one. i invite you all to join me
took gabe's dog siggy for the day and she's been following me around while doing stuff, very funny dog and i enjoy having her around. sitting against a tree in the pasture on this beautiful day, and it occurred to me just now how weird the idea of petting an animal is. i really wouldn't like someone rubbing my face and body randomly, in fact it would really piss me off, but siggy and the barn cat can't get enough of it. the rams also like getting rubbed in the middle of their foreheads which i can somewhat understand at least
has anyone else thought about this? i generally dislike people touching me but i feel like most normal people wouldn't like getting rubbed randomly
