branflakes is awesome, i'd been subscribed to them since like 2012 and to then suddenly see an upload in like 2017 after a period of inactivity was so funny

when i put my pants on this morning there was a fishing spider chilling in them and it managed to bite me a few times before i shwacked it and got majorly large loads of bug guts all over my leg

i feel like splatoon is in a way its spiritual successor, given how both games are unserious shooters that treat hats as a big deal

i would agree
however tf2 is (or was, i've heard they really fucked it up) a much more free-form game with high community involvement which is why i really liked it, since i'm terrible at video games. i actively refuse to play splatoon even in situations where i could have because i'm almost certain that i wouldn't like it, and i refuse to live with the knowledge that i dislike the cool squid game. some things in life are better left unknown

Lots of ups and downs today. Work was great and that makes me very thankful but I still have a lot to learn at my new job. Had a good dinner on the way home. Idk what I did wrong but when I saw my pepper plants the habanero has dropped about half its leaves in one day, and they're straight up falling off the plant at the slightest touch, despite otherwise looking healthy. It's extremely concerning. Also a package got lost from USPS and I have no faith they'll be able to recover it. Still very good though because a nice old Japanese lady who lives next door gave me like 15 pounds of random burned DVDs of Japanese TV shows. Tried to flip through a few and it looked like mostly some romance stuff (do the Japanese have soap operas?) but I'm still excited to try and find something to watch
