So Midco went and did some upgrades. Upload is the same from what ive seen, I have a gigabit of download speed but powerline network is a pain in the butt and slowing everything down. Sometime in the next couple weeks imma wire up a direct connection to the cable modem, which is located in the basement

Finally I get 50/20. I actually have a cable modem in my room. Its 50/20 as the line is temporary and low quality. However, Im going to run a higher quality line and I should get gig speeds

ikr, my isp tried desperatly to get me to use their residential gateway. Heck no, I actually want control of my network, I really like networking :)
