Small Eastern Experiment started out with a big flight from Amsterdam to Taiwan and then finally landed in Osaka.
In Osaka we walked around a bit in リンクタウン link town, which is pretty much the part that connects Kansai International Airport with the rest of Osaka. Talked a bit with some locals about where a good curry restaurant was. Curry restaurant was very small very cute.
The next day we had a private bus with which we drove to Kanazawa.
After seeing the mcdonalds i pretty much passed out. :sunglasses:
Cute small room with epic view of the university.
Mcdonalds number 2.
rainy day but still went out and even went to eat at a katsu restaurant with a group of people who i never really hung out with before.
The next day I went there again but with actual friend-group
Today sunday 二千二十三年四月九日 I went to The city castle and garden, Kazuemachi, Oyama jinja, a ramen shop called Ippudo, played some rhythm games (chunithm and groove coaster) in an arcade followed by walking to the central station.
I have also made it my mission to try every canned cofveve Japan has to offer

Sorry for the big filesizes :sob:
Last weekend i have been to Kyoto. I went there by train, not the shinkansen, but the thunderbird. The train ride took about 2 hours 10 minutes.
saw a funny dinosaur at 福井駅 fukui station
Sadly when I arrived in Kyoto the weather was kinda pretty not so nice
The view from the hotel was pretty good
During the first day just general walking around has occurred and did not take any pictures outside of this one. I just wanted to take it in without looking at my phone.
The next day was full of the big touristic spots. Woke up at 6:00 to go to 嵐山 arashiyama the famous bamboo forest grove. It was really beautiful to see especially in the rain. Kinda wish i also got to see it at night, but that is ok, there is always next time.
GOOD ROMANIZATION
Had breakfast at ガスト gust(?)
After that i went to Kiyomizudera the other funny anime temple that has to be visited in every slice of life.
All of China was there too!
Had to crop out someone's dirty ear, but this is the iconic, i think this screenshot is lucky star
Walking back down again going through a sidestreet i found this.
After this it was time for the famous Fushimi Inari Taisha, the shrine with the 1000 gates.
The first one
Also managed to be in time to visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace
The space is very big.
The next day the destination was Nara. It was a very hot day with pretty much no clouds at all (at least in Nara)
After having seen the deer Toudaiji had to be visited. In this temple the biggest wooden statue ever exists. Pictures do not do the size any justice. The Buddha statue is around 16 meters (~52'6") tall.
A scale build on how the whole temple complex should have looked around the year 800
After that we went to the Kasuga Taisha, where pictures were not allowed inside.
I only made this picture of the outside of the building.
I bought a victory charm at the temple.
After the shrine walking back to Nara station occurred
ate
Back in Kyoto the weather was very not good :crying:
The next day Nijo castle was visited before going back home to Kanazawa. Inside the main building pictures were not allowed but it was stunning and very authoritative 感じ was there.
While filling up time before the train back departed i strolled past the river in the city.
and later in the suburbs a small shrine and portal to Brazil were found
以上です
