was invited to a very fancy dinner that i'm about to head off to, got to get nice and fancy looking and wear a suit which i kind of miss honestly. if only white collar jobs didn't make me want to kill myself i honestly wouldn't mind dressing like this on the regular again it feels NICE

i just had a 76 year old man tell me i need to check my text messages more often. i consider this a huge accomplishment
on our lunch break i went with my boss down to minocqua so he could buy his new glasses as he hadn't purchased a new pair in years. he got them and after having them on for a while looked me in the face, did a double take, and said, "i had no idea you looked so old." he couldn't see the wrinkles and pores on my face this entire time apparently
It was a good day as far as a birthday can go because I didn't really do much and I got a nice quality carrot cake which is my favorite cake
I was actually wondering about on what day you celebrate your birthday during non-leap years, whether you'd do it on the 28th of February or 1st of March, but i guess there's my answer (though I guess you could also be leaving it for whichever out of the two is more convenient lmao).
