my phone screen is very small and it's easy to miss things, in my opinion the news posts and currently active members are the most important info on the mobile home page so it may be a good idea to order things in such a way where the news posts are more readily visible near the top. i don't have an eye for design so i'm not sure if this would look good
the only way i could really do this with the current layout without doing massive restructuring would be to just hide it, which probably makes sense anyhow
