have you ever looked into vertical farming

if by vertical farming you mean building trellises and pergolas to maximize on production for a crop that puts out vines then definitely. when i visited italy several years ago i was amazed by the exquisite beauty of the vineyards with the grape vines trained over many long corridors of sturdy, rustic pergolas and i've always wanted to build a similar setup for our orchard and vineyard, but i've also done some thinking regarding setting up easily moveable trellises for beans and peas using poultry netting and tying alder shoots together in threes that i may attempt this year
if by vertical farming you mean hydroponics in buildings then not really no
