Let's have fun writing music together! Attempts from all skill levels welcome.

My first submission is pretty self-explanatory and not very complex but I welcome any criticism.

I don't know anything about chord progressions or analyzing music, but it sounds like umineko and it's super cool
I'm thinking a ritardando around 1:28-ish and making the bassline a bit louder/crescendo would make the transition to the final section feel more dramatic

if i ever get the hang of pxtone i'll try posting my own things as well
in the meantime though here are my wip covers of shiver star from kirby 64 and northern desert from pmd sky, still have to balance the volume and figure out a bunch of other things

After listening to the original tracks both of those sound like a good starting place and you probably just need to fill out the details. The first track in particular sounds like it needs more of the instrumentation at least listening to the original song (unless you intend to omit it). If I may ask is there a reason you picked those specific tracks?
Also since there did seem to be a bit of confusion arrangements and remixes and such are more than topical IMO

As for my piece yeah I'm not satisfied with how it ends though I wanted it to loop, so naturally needed to bring the temp back down to what it was at the start of the track. However tbh, I'm really lazy about using dynamics, accidents, tempos so that's something I want to work on. Umineko was not an inspiration sadly but it would be good to study because the more techno tracks it has are pretty complex
